Attorney Joshua G. Davis is the managing partner of Sword & Shield Injury Attorneys and comes from a legacy of champions for injured victims. His father, Wendell N. Davis, Jr., has secured justice for injured victims in Detroit, Michigan for over 40 years. Like his father, Attorney Davis has a long history of pursuing justice for those injured by the negligence of others.
Furthermore, Attorney Davis personally knows the pain and frustration of being an accident victim. In the summer of 2010, Attorney Davis was run off the road in the desert of Arizona. His car rolled over into an embankment and was totaled. Despite this, his injuries were not life threatening, but he was thrust into a cycle of pain and medical treatment due to no fault of his own. Through his own case, Attorney Davis knows from experience the permanent effects an auto collision can have on one’s life. That is why his dedication to his clients’ wellbeing extends beyond dollars and cents.
Attorney Davis chose Sword and Shield as the moniker for his firm because he knows that it takes battle-ready counsel to gain full justice. It takes faith and fight to win in the face of big insurance companies.
In addition to practicing law, Attorney Davis is a part-time Magistrate Court Judge in his residing county of DeKalb. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and obtained his law degree from Howard University School of Law. He is a member of St. Philip A.M.E. church and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. When he is not fighting for injured victims, he is a dedicated husband and “girl-dad” to three little ladies.
